The construction arm of Larsen & Toubro has secured a large order for its Buildings & Factories business from the Government of Odisha to construct clinical blocks & allied infrastructure for a state-of-the-art hospital in Cuttack. The duration of this EPC project is 30 months.
The project involves construction of four clinical blocks (B+G+9 floors) comprising composite structural systems & other ancillary buildings with a total built up area of 3.4 Mn Sqft. The state-of-the-art facility will cover specialty departments such as Neurology, Nephrology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Hematology, Hepatology, Cardiology, Surgical blocks, Casualty, trauma & general surgery with a total of 2058 beds.
The scope of work includes Design and Execution of Architecture, Structure – Composite System, Electrical, VHT, ELV Systems covering data voice, BMS, ACS, CCTV, AV, PMS, NCS, QMS, AMS, Car Park management system, Asset Management system, PHE system, HVAC, FPS covering water curtain system, High velocity water spray & gas suppression system, MGPS, Steam Boilers, LPG, Kitchen & Laundry Equipment, Automatic waste & laundry system, Medical Pneumatic Tube Systems, Modular integrated OT, BMU System, Interior Works & Solar Panels for energy efficiency. The scope also includes Maintenance for 5 years for VHT, Landscape, FAS, CCTV, ACS, AV & AMS.
